Muay Thai

Thai fighting style created in 19th century developed from older Muay Boran, Muay Thai was developed by King Rama V as new Thai martial art style in 1900s. Modern ring design, modern gloves and modern tournament rounds system adopted from Boxing were introduced by King Rama V.

Panantukan

Filipino fighting style also known as Suntukan and Mano-Mano. The development of panantukan can be traced back to the pre-colonial period in the Philippines (before 1565), where tribal communities created hand-to-hand combat techniques for self defence and warfare.
