Kurash

Kurash (گولش / кӱрешчилер / күрес) is an ancient wrestling style practiced in Central Asia – Middle East countries. Bronze Age ceramics from Bactria (Uzbekistan) depict ancient wrestlers that suggesting Kurash's ancient roots. 

Kurash wrestlers wear special jacket and belt to hold each other and their goal is to throwing the opponent off the feet. The first official modern sport Kurash championship took place in Kazan in 1928.

Sword & Shield Fighting

Shield is a piece of personal armour held in the hand used to blocking opponent attacks, including projectile weapons attack like arrow.

There are lot of design variation made since ancient era. Lightly armored warriors who relying on speed are using light - small shield model. Heavy troops who relying on powerful armor are using heavier - bigger shield model.
