Taikiken

Taikiken (太氣拳) is a Japanese martial art created by Kenichi Sawai in 1947 after studying Yi Quan Tui Shou under Chinese master Wang Xiangzhai.

This style emphasizes practicing natural fighting movements, easy but functional fighting techniques and without wasting time by dancing Kata (Martial Dance).

Tomoi

Traditional Malaysian martial art style historically rooted in northern states like Kelantan, Kedah, and Terengganu.

Many historians believe Tomoi and Muay Thai share a common ancestor dating back to when the region was interconnected, diverging later as cultural/religious differences grew. Tomoi also utilizes "8 Limbs” (2 fists, 2 elbows, 2 knees, 2 foots) and evolved through cultural exchanges with Thailand.
