Kenpo (拳法) is the Northern Japanese (Nippon Kingdom) martial art developed from Kungfu (武術) / Kuoshu (國術) / Kuntao (拳道).
Some Kenpo schools believe if Kenpo was brought by buddhist monks from China in the middle of the 6th century.
Other schools believe if Kenpo was brought from China to Japan about 700 years ago by the Yoshida Clan and was quickly adopted by the Komatsu Clan.
