Karate Kata (空手型) Okinawan martial dance art created in 13th century.

In 13th century, members of the Okinawan upper classes were sent to China regularly to study various new knowledges and arts. The incorporation of Chinese Wushu (武術套路) and Okinawan Karate also began here, Kata is an Okinawan style of Taolu dance art.
